George Earl Trenholm November 2, 1954 - May 16, 2025. It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of George Earl Trenholm, who peacefully departed this life on May 16, 2025, at the age of 70 years, in the Valley Regional Hospital Kentville, NS with his eldest son, Darcy (Mirranda) by his side. Born on November 2, 1954, in Sackville, NB, he was a loving father, grandfather, brother and friend. George volunteered for the last 20 years serving with the Colchester Ground Search and Rescue in Debert, NS. George worked in construction for several years at Mid-Valley Construction and was known for driving semi trucks for most of his life. He went wherever the road took him. George had a passion for old classic country music and the famous Jelly Roll. He enjoyed playing darts at the Truro Horsemen’s Club in Bible Hill, NS. George also enjoyed mud bogging and received trophies for this amazing hobby. He also enjoyed selling lobster with his family and friends, so much that he spent several years doing what he enjoyed. George was known as a "Jack of all trades,” an amazing father and friend who brought great joy to those who knew him.He will be missed by many, especially his companion, Rita. George is survived by his children, Darcy Trenholm (Mirranda), and Curtis Trenholm; grandchildren, Sasha Trenholm, Zachary Trenholm, Hazel Trenholm, Colby Trenholm, Tyler James Hache, Kegan Despres; brother, Gary (Heather) Trenholm. George was predeceased by his parents, Albert and Irene Trenholm and sister, Joanne Thompson. In lieu of flowers, donations in George’s memory may be made to Colchester Ground Search and Rescue in Debert, NS.In keeping with George’s wishes, cremation has taken place, and a celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, September 20th from 3-6pm in Truro Horsemen's Club.

Jerry Jay Miller, a cherished father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on August 18, 2025, at the age of 75 at Cardinal Woods, Madison. Born on April 7, 1950, in Kingwood, West Virginia, to the late John and Virginia Miller, Jerry was a man of great integrity, love, and quiet strength.Jerry worked in construction, hanging drywall. Later in life, he made a notable shift, serving the dietary department at Altercare in Mentor.Jerry's home projects were a testament to his handiness and he took immense pleasure in maintaining a nice yard. Jerry's most cherished moments involved the simple joys of life, like enjoying a good cup of coffee and playing with his grandkids, Autumn, Leah, and Nathan, who brought him immeasurable happiness.Jerry's legacy is lovingly remembered by his family, including his devoted daughter, Lola Miller; his son, Jerry Lee (Cheryl Opatrny) Miller, and his adored great-granddaughter, Aubree Drake; his brother, Delmas Miller; and his dear sisters, Lena Miller and Laura Belle. He was preceded in death by 11 siblings.Visitation will be held on Friday, August 22, 2025 from 10-11am at Johnson Funeral Home, 368 Mentor Ave., Painesville, Ohio 44077. The funeral service will follow at 11:00am with interment in Evergreen Cemetery.

Born and raised in Vicari, Sicily-Italy for 36 years, she emigrated to the United States living in Garfield for 49 years moving to Wyckoff six years ago. Antonina was a homemaker, a member of the St. Anthony Society and the Sacred Heart Society, and she was a parishioner of Mt. Virgin RC Church, all of Garfield. She is predeceased by her beloved husband of 51 years, Giovanni in 2019, and her siblings, Piera DiCarlo and Alfonsina Ingraffia. She is survived by her loving and devoted son, Joseph Sparandeo with his wife Lila, two cherished grandchildren, Joseph and Michael Sparandeo, and two dear siblings, Vincenzo Montelone and Giuseppina Saponte. Visiting Wednesday 4 to 8 pm. The funeral is Thursday, August 21, 2025, arriving at the Aloia Funeral Home at 10 am followed by a 11 am mass at Our Lady of Mt. Virgin RC Church, Garfield.
